YEAR 2025-2026
YEAR 2025-2026
ENGLISH STORYTELLING - INFANT
On June 9th, students from the three levels of infant education enjoyed the storytelling presented by Forum Theatre. The title was "socks" and it promoted friendship, collaboration and bravery. It was very funny!
2nd GRADE. BILINGUAL SCHOOL TRIP 2026
For another year, our 2nd grade students participated in a bilingual school trip with students from other bilingual schools in the province. Students from Cella, Monreal, and Las Viñas joined our bilingual students at Fuenfresca to work together on a range of collaborative activities. The topic of this year's project was Australia.
Our students learned about different aspects of Australia: animals, food, geography, fun activities, important places, etc. The project was both fun and educational, helping students develop their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills while learning about Australia through a variety of engaging activities.
On 8th June, our students met their penfriends and they exchanged their last postcard where they wrote about fun activities in Australia and their favourite ones. Moreover, they participated in different activities in groups: creating their own boomerangs, bingo, storytelling, board games, physical education games, etc. They enjoyed a lot the day and they met a lot of students from their same age.
Once again, both teachers and students considered this a highly motivating and enjoyable experience. Due to its success, teachers are looking forward to continuing the activity next year.
ENGLISH THEATRE - PRIMARY
On May 26th, students from Primary Education enjoyed the theatre presented by Latournee. The plays were adapted to different levels: Little Monsters Abroad for the first cycle, Transylvania Cruise for the second cycle, and Murder in the Nile for the third cycle.
As always, the performances were great fun and provided an enriching and engaging way for students to practise and improve their English skills.
FORMACIÓN PHONICS CAROL GEORGE
This morning (11th February), Year 1 and 2 students and some teachers have received a class of phonics by the specialist Carol George. It has been a great experience. Phonics are a great tool to develop the four skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing).
YEAR 2024-2025
One more year, our students in 2nd grade participated in a bilingual school trip with three more bilingual schools from our province. Students from different schools in Cella, Monreal and Las Viñas worked together with our bilingual students at Fuenfresca. The topic of this year´s project was the USA.
Our students learned about different aspects of the USA, aspects like fauna, geography, festivities, food, important places or interesting information.
This was a fun and fascinating project for all our students and they practiced listening, speaking reading and writing in an integrated way through this topic.
Our students met their penfriends in Cella and they exchanged their last postcard where they wrote about all the fun facts they learned about the USA.
Teachers and students valued this, once again, as a very motivating and fun experience for all. Activity that teachers plan on continuing next year!
The students who attend the campus participate in activities such as biology and chemical classes, workshops about food, fashion, music, medicine or culture. Moreover, it's a good time to discover some adventure parks with amazing zip-lines, play mini golf or drive karts. At night, students enjoy the party or terror night a lot.
It is a unique experience to put into practice everything that they have learned using English to communicate with the American, Canadian and British teachers while attending the different lessons during these days.
It turned out to be an exciting activity that students loved and a terrific way to close their last year in Fuenfresca's school!
EVERY YEAR
Our school participates in the Aragonese Science Fair. Four of our 6th graders represent our school presenting their wonderful work about different scientific contents: acid rain, reducing and recycling water, etc.
First of all, they think about a topic of their interests and together with the teachers, they decide how to put the scientific method into practice. They need to do a research, make some hypothesis, perform some experiments to prove their hypothesis, and finally, they make conclusions and, if possible, present some solutions or alternatives to the problem. With all this information, they create the oral presentation to do in the Science Fair.
Our four students and their teachers have a great time in Zaragoza (Galachos de la Alfranca). They have the opportunity to meet other teachers and students participating in the Fair and they learn more things about science.
With no doubts, this is a fun and interesting programme where we can see how learning science along with English is a fact in our school.
Second grade students participated on the 5th Provincial Bilingual Schools Trip.
Our second graders, along with other second graders from three other bilingual schools from our province, studied and worked on the topic "Learning about the AUSTRALIA".
Students learned about general concepts about AUSTRALIA, their symbols, animals, main monuments and landscapes, geography, etc.
To end up this project, teachers prepared a field trip so students from all these four schools could meet and share some postcards while playing games, doing fun activities and using the English language in a real and relaxed context.
Teachers and students valued this, once again, as a very motivating and fun experience for all. Activity that teachers plan on continuing next year!
