😍 Our Local Community:
Fucheng Senior High School is located in the Fengshan District of Kaohsiung City, adjacent to the Qianzhen River Waterfront Trail and right next to Exit 2 of the MRT Qianzhen Senior High School Station, offering excellent accessibility. To ensure student safety, the school has established a dedicated promote learningpedestrian path. The surrounding area is highly developed with comprehensive amenities where a KFC stands directly opposite the school, and the neighborhood is lined with restaurants, clothing stores, hotels, and night markets, satisfying all the needs of "food, clothing, housing, and transportation." As these functions evolve, the Wujia area has seen a steady population increase, becoming a vibrant emerging hub in Kaohsiung.
😍 Project Research Summary:
This project aims to build a website through the Cyberfair activity to introduce Kaohsiung, a city that blends modernity with tradition, and embeded nature with humanity. Our theme is "Deep Rooting in Fengshan." As the most populous district in Kaohsiung, Fengshan possesses the dual characteristics of a historic old town and a modern metropolis.
The "Deep Rooting in Fengshan" initiative focuses on cultural preservation, community cohesion, and sustainable development:
Cultural Preservation: By maintaining assets like the Fengshan Old City and Fongyi Academy, we promote local education and guided tours to foster a sense of identity among residents.
Community Engagement: Through community building, markets, and arts activities, we encourage social interaction and develop local cuisine, night markets, and crafts to form a unique "Fengshan Brand."
Urban Improvement: We aim to improve transportation, public facilities, and environmental sustainability to enhance the quality of life.
Our future goal is to connect historical sites, temples, and cultural heritages into planned tourist routes, creating an exemplary livable community that balances culture, lifestyle, and economy.
😍 Our Internet Environment:
Our school features fully computerized administration and digital telecommunications. Every office and classroom is equipped with computers for internet access and cable TV. We have three multimedia network computer labs with a total of 120 computers available for computer science and cross-disciplinary teaching. The internet environment is exceptionally stable and convenient for all users.
😍 Problems We Encountered and Overcame:
Data Filtering and Organization: Given the vast amount of information about Kaohsiung, we utilized official data and conducted field research to ensure the content was accurate and representative.
Web Development Challenges: Initially unfamiliar with web design, we mastered the necessary skills through self-learning and guidance from our teachers, successfully building a user-friendly platform.
Time Management and Division of Labor: Balancing academics with the project was tough. We improved efficiency through clear task allocation and regular discussions.
Team Collaboration and Communication: Since team members had different perspectives on Kaohsiung, we overcame internal differences through frequent communication and coordination.
Promotion and Outreach: We utilized school social media and word-of-mouth marketing to increase the website's exposure and attract more attention.

This research project has not only deepened our understanding of Kaohsiung but also taught us the vital importance of teamwork. Every challenge we faced—and eventually overcame through coordination—became an opportunity for growth.
We explored the beauty of the Fengshan District with our hearts and promoted this city through our actions. Fengshan is more than just a tourist destination; it is a city rich in stories and culture that deserves to be savored. This project has equipped us with problem-solving skills and a deeper appreciation for our local heritage, serving as a driving force for our future learning and exploration.
