DRESS CODE
WHAT TO WEAR IN PRESCHOOL?
Children should wear comfortable play clothes to school.
They will be painting, glueing, exploring and playing outside everyday.
If your child is potty training, please make sure that his/her pants are easy to pull up and down - with no belts or ties - so that they can build their independence with toileting.
PLEASE MARK ALL CLOTHING, JACKETS, ETC. WITH YOUR CHILD'S NAME TO AVOID CONFUSION
SHOES
Shoes are a pretty big deal. Please send your child to school in shoes that allow him/her to run, jump and walk comfortably. We play outside everyday. Rubber soled shoes or sandals with a strap on the back are best.
FLIP FLOPS are NOT permitted
We have PE EVERYDAY and if your child is not wearing closed toe rubber soled shoes, s/he will not be permitted to participate in PE.
EXTRA CLOTHES
Please send a complete set of extra clothing (including underwear and socks) clearly marked with your child's name, in a ziploc bag also marked with your child's name. These clothes will be kept at school to use in case of accidents. If your child comes home wearing his/her extra clothes, be sure to check the backpack for dirty clothes and return an extra set of clothing the next day.
DIAPERS and WIPES
If your child is wearing diapers, please send a package of diapers AND a package of wipes to school clearly marked with your child's name. We will send a note home when you need to send in more.
If your child is potty training, please make sure that his/her pants are easy to pull up and down - with no belts or ties - so that they can build their independence with toileting.
