"Pride Perspective with Mr. Z"

We hope everyone enjoyed a fun and relaxing break with family and friends.

Thank You to all of our students and parents that shared a "ROAR for a Reedy Lion" for a teacher, director, coach or staff member! We had over 250 "ROAR's" that were shared with these staff members before the break. It meant so much to these individuals to hear how much they are appreciated for what they do!

Please continue to monitor Canvas and Unit Assessment Plans to see upcoming Progress Checks for Understanding (non-weighted grades) and Assessments of Learning (weighted grades) as part of the units in the 2nd Quarter. Our IPR2 grades will be posted in HAC on Friday Dercember 7th and we conclude the 2nd Quarter and 1st Semester on Friday December 19.

Some dates and events we would like to ask that you mark on your calendars:

• December 20th -January 4th    WINTER BREAK for all FISD Students and Staff

• January 5th - FISD Staff Development Day for Teachers and Staff - No School for FISD Students

On colder weather days: When we experience temperatures of 40 degrees or below, students are able to enter the building starting at 8:15 AM. Please plan your drop-off time accordingly during cold weather.

The 2025-2026 school year will conclude learning experiences with students on the final day of the 2025-2026 school calendar. Students are expected to be in attendance and will be completing their last assessment of learning of the last unit in the 4th quarter in all classes up through the last day of school on Friday - May 22nd.
