"Pride Perspective with Mr. Z"

We had a great week of RHS Homecoming festivities which concluded on Saturday with our RHS Homecoming Dance. Thank you to all our families who were able to participate in the many events of RHS Homecoming Week.

Please continue to monitor Canvas and Unit Assessment Plans to see upcoming Progress Checks for Understanding (non-weighted grades) and Assessments of Learning (weighted grades) as part of the units in the 1st Quarter.

All RHS students have received their school ID for the 2025-2026 school year and are required to physically show it each day upon their arrival on campus. Students that do not have their 2025-2026 RHS school ID at arrival could face disciplinary consequences may be forced to have an additional ID issued. Thank you, in advance, for your assistance in making sure your student has their ID each day with them when they head to school.

Some dates and events we would like to ask that you mark on your calendars:

• This Wednesday - October 1st will be the school-day PSAT for all 10th and 11th graders.

• • All 10th/11th Grade students will be testing and should arrive at campus prior to the start of the PSAT at 9 AM

  • All 9th and 12th Grade Students will have a late arrival and should be on campus by 12:45 for the start of 3rd Period

• Report Cards for the 1st Quarter will be available in HAC on Friday October 17th with the 1st Quarter concluding on Thursday - October 9th

• October 10  - NO SCHOOL for FISD STUDENTS - FISD Staff Development Day

• October 13, 14 - NO SCHOOL for FISD STAFF and STUDENTS - Fall Break

• November 12th - RHS 6th Annual "Parents of the Pride" edCamp  5:40-7:30 PM - More details to come

The 2025-2026 school year will conclude learning experiences with students on the final day of the 2025-2026 school calendar. Students are expected to be in attendance and will be completing their last assessment of learning of the last unit in the 4th quarter in all classes up through the last day of school on Friday - May 22nd.
