Eileen Shaw - Resource Teacher
My name is Eileen Shaw and I am a special education resource teacher at Smith. This is my ninth year teaching at Smith and my 17th year working in education. I received my degrees from The University of Scranton and California State University, Fullerton. When I’m not working with kids in the classroom, I love to spend time with my family, especially my three kids, Scarlett, Penelope, and Reid. We also have a chihuahua named Tootsie! I love reading, movie nights, and traveling. I'm so happy to start another year at Smith!
Brandi Bounds - Resource Teacher
My name is Brandi Bounds and I am a special education resource teacher at Smith. This is my 8th year teaching at Smith and my 8th year working in education. Before becoming a resource teacher I taught 2 years in 5th grade and 3 years in kindergarten! I received my Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood Education from Dallas Baptist University. When I’m not in the classroom, I love to spend time with my husband and my baby girl! We also have a pug named Mazie that also thinks she is a baby. In my free time you can catch me outside with a good book, going on walks with my family, spending time with my friends, and eating Mexican food! I cannot wait for another great year at Smith together!
Lilly Nauman - Resource Teacher
My name is Lilly Nauman and I am a special education resource teacher at Smith. This is my second year teaching at Smith and my sixth year working in education. I received my degrees from Texas Tech University and The University of North Texas. When I’m not working with kids in the classroom, I love to spend time with my family and friends, baking, being outside and being active. I am excited for another great year at Smith!
Hi! My name is Leslea Hebert, and I am a special education resource teacher at Smith. This is my 18th year in education and my 4th year in special education. Before teaching in special education, I taught physical education and coached middle school and high school cross country and track.
I received my undergraduate degree from East Texas A&M University (TAMU-Commerce) and my master’s degree in special education from the University of North Texas.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Lynn, and my son, Cooper. I also enjoy running, taking trips to Sonic, playing various instruments, and jumping on the trampoline with Cooper.
I am excited for another great year at Smith!
