Rachel LeForce

My name is Rachel and I am so excited to be joining Smith as their instructional coach.  I have had lots of wonderful and diverse experiences working in education for the last 19 years.  I have taught in Thailand, Maine, Oklahoma and now Texas.  I have a BS in Early Childhood Education and a MS in Family Life Education. 

Four years ago I transitioned out of the classroom to become an Instructional Coach.  I have had extensive training and in Oct of 2019 earned the Instructional Coaching Certification from the Instructional Coaching Group.  Being an IC is an amazing role that lets me advocate for teachers and students. I support   teachers in finding the strategies that result in students all across the campus reaching achievement goals. I love this job!!

I am so excited to collaborate with the Smith community and grow and learn with my new school family!
