As we enter into registration season for next year we wanted to share the information we have about our Dual Credit options in Frisco ISD. Reedy currently has the most students in Dual Credit in the district, as our students and families really enjoy the benefits of these courses, as we have a 98+% passing rate and students hear hundreds of hours of college credit.
Through our dual credit program, students are able to earn both college credit and high school credit at the same time at a much lower cost than traditional college. Frisco offers dual credit beginning in the 10th grade, and increases options in 11th and 12th. If you are interested in Collin Dual Credit we have a few meeting options for you to attend to learn more.
The district will offer 2 webinars that explain dual credit, share the college courses and expectations and highlight the Collin registration process. This meeting is optional but will help you understand the program more!
