Bully Prevention
Bully Prevention
At Hosp, we want every student to feel safe, included, and cared for and we take bullying seriously.
When concerns come up at school, we encourage students to talk with their teacher first, as teachers can often help students work through disagreements and provide support in the moment.
Students can also complete a bullying report if they have a concern they would like to share which is located on their Canvas.
How Can You Support Your Child at Home?
If your child comes home sharing a concern about a friendship or something that happened at school, take a few minutes to listen and ask questions to better understand the situation. You might ask, “Can you tell me more about what happened?” or “How did that make you feel?” These conversations can help your child feel heard and supported while encouraging them to work through challenges and ask an adult for help when needed.
If something continues to worry your child or you have concerns about bullying, please reach out to your child's teacher or contact us at school. We are happy to listen and work with you to support your child. Together, we can help make Hosp a place where every child feels safe, welcomed, and valued!
The bully report is links below if you ever feel the need to fill it out.
