Earth Day - 2023 - Meeting for Worship Video - 2J

According to the American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) - To friends, good stewardship means taking care of what has been given, not just for ourselves, but for the people around us and for future generations as well.

As we think about the world today, we are often reminded to think about what a world ought to be in future years to come.

Earth Day is celebrated this year on Saturday, April 22, 2023.  When thinking about the Quaker Spices - I connect most with Stewardship when this celebration is upon us.

As I also think about Integrity, I am often reminded how important it is to

respect and take care of the things we own and use.

By reducing and conserving we can take some great

steps to take good care of our earth.

In Science, some of my friends in John’s third grade class thought about these ideas and drew some pictures and shared their ideas in this video.

Our Query today:

How can you practice good stewardship by reducing and conserving to take

good care of our planet EARTH?
