The students in KJE, KCR and KML have been exploring the States of Matter in Science.   We learned that all things are made of Matter and took a closer look at SOLIDS, LIQUIDS and GASES.  

We made volcanoes with solids (flour and salt), and a liquid(water).  We combined a solid(baking soda) and a liquid (vinegar) to make a gas (c02).  Baking soda and vinegar react due to the exchange of atoms that occur when they are combined.  Eruptions were incredible, take a look at what we observed in the photos below.
