Edpuzzle is a platform allowing you to create teaching videos with quizzes, by uploading your own video or editing from external videos (e.g. TED talk, National Geographic, Youtube, etc.).
The follow steps will guide you how to add video at Edpuzzle with questions/quizzes, and find the embedded link for adding to Moodle. By adding the video to class at Edpuzzle, you can also check students' participation.
*Please note that videos uploaded/edited will also be accessible by users that has Edpuzzle account. If you don't want your videos to be accessible by public, you can use the EdUHK Video Portal.

Sign in with Teacher role
Choose “Sign in with Google”, using the account xxxx@friends.eduhk.hk or xxxx@s.eduhk.hk account
Add a new class
Click on "my classes" from the top right corner and “Add new class”
Fill in the information to create class
Uploading/adding video
Go to “Content” > “My Content” > “Add Content”
You can upload a video from your local drive OR create a video from other channels
If you have uploaded your video to YouTube, you can copy the link and paste it here
Editing content of the video
From "My Content", click on the video you want to edit, then choose "edit"
Choose "Questions" to add questions/quizzes to the video, then tap on the timeline where you would like to add the questions
Choose "Finish" at the top right corner when finished editing
Assign the video to class
From “My Content”, click on the video you want to assign
Select the class and click on "Assign"
You may copy the assignment link and paste it to Moodle, this is one of the ways you can consider:
Copy the Embed Code of the video and embed to Moodle
Under “My Classes”, click on the video then choose "Share assignment”
Copy the embed code
At Your Moodle Page, use “turn editing on” > “Add an activity or resource”
Then choose “label” > “Add”
Choose the html button and paste the embedded link
Choose save and return to course
*** If you would like to check students' attendance, please check whether your video is being assigned to class, ie. need logging in before watching the video. If participants do not need to login to the video to watch it, then you cannot see their participation. Students can login with Google using their xxxx@s.eduhk.hk account, then click "Get started" > "Join class” to watch the video.
To check students' participation
At Edpuzzle, choose “Gradebook” from the top right hand corner
Choose the class assigned, then you will be able to see who have watched the video and the total time spent
