The Music Parents will present an annual Band Awards Banquet each spring.
All students are encouraged to attend. At the banquet, the below awards will be bestowed (mostly to seniors).
Dress is semi-formal!

Chopin Piano Award - Presented for outstanding achievement as an accompanist and service to the school music program.

Patrick Gilmore Award - Given in honor of the legendary Civil War bandmaster and impresario.
National School Marching Award - Recognizes outstanding contributions on the field. It honors the musical contributions and dedication of student leaders whose example inspires other students.
Louis Armstrong Jazz Award - In recognition of outstanding achievement by an instrumentalist in the field of jazz, as demonstrated through superior musicianship, character, and individual creativity.

United States Marine Corps Semper Fidelis Award - The “Semper Fidelis” Award for Musical Excellence is in recognition of diligence, dedication, and musical excellence as a performing high school bandsman.
