The FTHS math program offers traditional high school math courses, elective courses, and college entry-level courses. Students will strengthen their mathematical proficiency through problem solving, inquiry, and representations as guided by the Mathematical Practices. Furthermore, students will be offered the appropriate balance of analytical techniques and technological instruction to explore mathematical topics.
The Class of 2024 is starting our program with ‘Geometry First.’ Geometry First is a sequence design, offering our students concrete mathematics to build the foundation for all future high school math courses.
