In today’s interconnected global society, it is indispensable to develop competency in more than one language. The Freehold Township High School Classical & World Language Department enables students to gain a deeper perspective of the world through the study of world languages. The experiences in our Classical & World Language courses allow students to gain perspectives on the world and the contemporary life of different cultures. The study of Classical & World Languages is an enriching experience that promotes the critical thinking of globally-minded learners and provides the necessary skills and cultural understanding to enable meaningful communication. Our array of Classical & World Language courses in Spanish, French, Italian, and Latin cultivate an awareness that language and culture are interrelated, which is a fundamental element of 21st-century citizenship.
