October Update
Welcome to our second edition of our FPJS Newsletter 2022! It has been an exciting couple of weeks with our elections for House Captains in Year 6, our parent tours for new Year 3 parents beginning and a school trip already for Y5!
Following feedback from parents, we will be trying to add lots of information and useful links for parents in the newsletter so these are all located in one place and cutting down the amount of emails we send home. We have also tried to include information relevant to each year group under each tab- here you will find our new year group curriculum maps for the year which we have been busy updating. Please note, although we will be covering the content and objectives listed on the maps, we may review when things are taught depending on resources and specialist teaching.
Our sad news this week is that we have 2 key members of staff who are moving on to pastures new- Mr Kemp, our sport coach and Mr Welsford, one of our Y3 TA's. More details can be found in later sections of this newsletter.
As you will see, we have a busy few weeks coming up leading us up to half term. We are very much looking forward to welcoming in our first author of the year, Jodie Garnish- see more info below. We also have our annual harvest celebration and will be collecting donations for foodshare and in our final week we have our parents consultations where you can see how well your child has settled into school so far this year!
