Student Voice

Student Voice

Each year the students at Outwood Academy Foxhills play their part in the democratic act of voting for our Student Prime Minister.

Students in every year group have the opportunity to canvas to become our elected Prime Minister.  You can also be part of student voice supporting the development of the academy.

Student Parliament

We have a team of 20 students as part of our Student Parliament - 1 per VMG, known as VMG Ambassadors. These students are voted in by their fellow VMG members.

From this pool of 20, we hold a whole school election to appoint a Prime Minister and a Deputy Prime Minister.  We also elect 4 Continent Ambassadors.

We meet for one hour each fortnight, keep detailed minutes and hold each other accountable for actions.

This year, students have organised events to raise money for Comic Relief and Children in Need (over £500 combined), we are currently working on Coronation celebrations, and focusing on how we can improve the school community and reduce our carbon footprint / become more environmentally friendly
