Junk Box weekend
Saturday, July 18, and Sunday, July 19

The 2026 FSHOA Junk Box weekend was such a wonderful event, and it was so great to see how much our residents looked forward to it! There is nothing like a chance to clean out those attics and garages to put everyone in a fantastic mood. We had our usual exciting rush at 9 AM on Saturday with cars packed full — we even had an early bird! — before things smoothed out and picked up again later.
A huge thank you to our four amazing workers, Preston Casteel, JT Champion, Nell Hoffman, and Will McMillan, who did a phenomenal job unloading cars and filling up the bins so efficiently!
We were also incredibly grateful for our wonderful volunteers who helped check addresses. Thank you so much to Megan and Patrick Collins for covering Saturday morning, and to Robyn and Dan Berry for taking the afternoon shift. A special shout-out to Bev Noe for dedicating her entire Sunday to checking names! We also owe a big thank you to Bev Riddle for generously letting us use her driveway to organize items for charity. Thanks to her, the Vietnam Vets of America will be making a pickup this Wednesday!
Megan, Patrick, Bev Noe, and Bev Riddle all teamed up to organize and clean the donated items. This was a massive task, and we truly appreciate all their hard work and dedication.
Last but certainly not least, Miguel was hard at work Sunday doing landscaping for some residents and incredibly took it upon himself to clean up the cul-de-sac after the dumpsters were removed. He cleared away a ton of debris and left the space looking beautiful! He has also kindly agreed to be our metal coordinator next year since he has a great truck for the job. Thank you so much, Miguel!
We would love to hear your thoughts, so please feel free to share any suggestions or ideas for improvements as we look forward to next year's event!

In the past we have had people bringing items to the junk box for disposal that could have easily been repurposed. For that reason, we have decided to enlist volunteers to amass items in an area to the side that will be picked up by Vietnam Vets of America after the event is finished.

We are happy to announce that Junk Box weekend is coming up on Saturday, July 18th, and Sunday, July 19th, from 9 AM to 4 PM at the Cranberry Court cul-de-sac. This service is our way of thanking Four Seasons residents who are current on their annual dues and other assessments.
To make things easy, four wonderful workers will help unload your vehicles, and friendly volunteers will be there to collect any items perfect for donation.
A quick favor for our Cranberry Court neighbors: please keep the curbside clear on Friday, July 17, so our bins can be delivered safely and smoothly.
To keep everyone safe, please remember that dismantling metal on-site isn't permitted. We also kindly ask that you do not bring hazardous waste, construction materials, kitchen trash, yard debris, or glass.
We look forward to seeing you there and tidying up together!
