Fall 2026 Update

The creek restoration project is moving forward!  Tualatin Soil and Water Conservation District awarded Four Seasons a “Direct Financial Assistance Grant.” These funds ($37,500) along with a partial match from the HOA will be used  to continue our planting efforts along the edge of the creek. The grasses and shrubs we planted in the spring are thriving! And more areas will be ready for planting in the Spring 2027. In time, we hope to install a walking path that invites residents to explore and enjoy the new creek habitat.

In addition, a major focus of the grant will be the creation of a wetland meadow just south of the Village Lane bridge. Native Plantscapes NW will prepare the meadowscape design over the winter months. The plan will include a mix of trees, shrubs, grasses, and wildflowers. Our goal is to make this area a neighborhood amenity highlighting the variety and beauty of native plants. 

Note that this a three-year grant, so once work begins, the transformation will be dramatic! Stand-by for details and pictures as we move forward.
