SUMMER TRAINING
Here are training programs for this summer. BE PREPARED. Make a commitment to run miles and get better.
The plans are straight forward, but please ask if you have questions.
DEAD PERIOD: June 25 – July 9th
That means you are unable to use HHS facilities/coaching. Since the track is public, feel free to jog around that on runs as well... That said, there will be people running from Highland Park daily at 8am. The more people who show up, the more people we have to train with! Be smart and be careful. This is unsupervised until we start practice in July.
If you want to join, go for it! Hopefully there will be people you can run with. It's a great opportunity to get out the door early either way. This is completely optional.
Remember: State Champs are made in the summer, not November.
Lastly, GET A PHYSICAL if you need one.
