Guests Needing Internet or Presentation Ability

Anyone hosting a guest who will need internet connectivity or the ability to present using their own equipment, should submit a technology work order at least ONE WEEK prior to their arrival.

Submitted work orders should contain the date, time, and location(s) of the guest presenter(s). A description of the equipment they will be bringing and the type of access they need is also helpful.

Accessibility to District Technology and Data

Fort Thomas Independent Schools does not provide technology resources to student teachers or practicum students. Additionally, the district does not permit student data sharing with student teachers or practicum students. To prevent the accidental sharing of data, e-mail accounts and access to distribution lists are not provided.

Student Teachers and Practicum Students who wish to bring their own devices on campus are welcome to do so. Submit a technology work order to request guest internet access that includes the name of the student, the date range that guest access will be needed, and a good time for a member of the technology staff to meet with the student.

Faculty and staff are reminded that district usernames and passwords to any services should NEVER be shared with anyone.
