Improved phone instructions and functionality are coming soon!
The info below can be used in the meantime.
The phone must be plugged into a working network data jack. See illustration to the left for where that cable must be inserted into the phone.
A computer can be plugged into the computer jack of the phone. Data can pass to and from your computer THROUGH your handset. That port is located to the right of the network port on the phone.
The stand can be inserted into one of two locations in the back of the handset depending on the angle you wish the phone to stand.

MacBook Passwords
Your MacBook password and your district password do not sync when changing your district password.
Your district password must be 15 characters long and changed every 180 days. There are no restrictions on your MacBook password. HOWEVER, THIS DOES NOT MEAN YOU DON’T NEED A SECURE PASSWORD FOR YOUR MACBOOK - It just means there are less restrictions for it.
You have two options when you change your district password -
OPTION #1: If you don’t care if the passwords are the same, just change your district password and leave your MacBook password the same. You will use two different passwords … your district password for your district account and your MacBook password for your MacBook.
OPTION #2: If you want your district password and MacBook password to always be the same, you’ll need to change both individually. After you change your district password, manually change your MacBook password to the same thing. Not sure how to do that? There is a fancy screen shot at the bottom of this email.
If you forget your MacBook password, you must submit a work order for assistance and will be locked out of your device until someone can assist. Please make sure your MacBook password is both secure and memorable for you.
Apple TVs
Apple TV Connections
Nearly every display panel in the district is equipped with an Apple TV to make mirroring MacBook and iPad screens seamless. To prevent unintentional connection, all AppleTVs are set to "conference mode." The name of the Apple TV you wish to connect your device to should be shown on the display panel - Apple TVs you have the ability to your connect your device to will appear alphabetically on your Apple device's screen.
Apple TV Troubleshooting
Apple TVs are consistently reliable, but not without the occasional need to troubleshoot. If your connection is not working properly, there are some basic troubleshooting steps you should follow before seeking assistance. These steps are listed in the order they should be attempted.
TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS
(TEST YOU CONNECTION BEFORE MOVING TO THE NEXT STEP):
Close all unnecessary tabs in any open browsers.
Close all unnecessary applications on your device.
Close all applications, then restart your device.
IF THE APPLE TV IS EASILY ACCESSIBLE, reboot the Apple TV by unplugging the power cable, then reconnect it to power.
If the above troubleshooting steps do not work, submit a technology work order that includes a description of what happens when you attempt to connect, and the troubleshooting steps you were able to complete.

Classroom Displays
Display Troubleshooting
There are an assortment of different displays throughout the district. Regardless of type, the most basic troubleshooting technique is the same - if you have an accessible way to do it, reboot the display by powering off the display, then powering it back up after a short delay.
If you have access to a power button on the display, attempt to use that first. If you do not have access to a power button, or if using the power button did not resolve the issue, disconnect the display from its power source if possible.
If you are still having issues after attempting the above procedure, submit a technology work order that includes a description of what you are experiencing and the troubleshooting steps you were successful in attempting.
