Health is a semester-long required course for juniors. During the course, students will be reflecting on a variety of topics and how their choices either increase or decrease their risk when trying to protect the things in their life that are most important to them. The course is divided into the following topic areas: first aid/CPR, nutrition/fitness, alcohol, tobacco and other drugs, personality, relationships and human growth and development. At the conclusion of this course, students should have reliable information that would enable them to make choices towards a healthy lifestyle now and in the future.
