Socratic Seminar for Younger Students - Here are some ideas that can help you introduce student-led dialogue, as well as some activities you can do with younger students to encourage active listening and the use of precise language. This site is more geared towards 5th grade and younger, but contains some great tips for starting Socratic Seminars with older kids as well.
TPSP Tasks for 5-8 - TPSP = Texas Performance Standards Projects. This link will take you directly to the high school grade band. From there, choose your subject and explore all the projects they have to offer. Keep in mind, these projects are intended to take weeks to months to complete and follow the complete research and presentation cycle.
