The links below all contain ideas for cross curricular extensions. All of these projects and websites combine learning from some or all of the core content areas. Please don't be overwhelmed by the choices. Start with one and go from there. Imagineering in a Box - Have you ever wondered how theme parks come to life? Disney Imagineers from hundreds of career disciplines around the world share how they use a wide range of skills – from story development and conceptual design, to math, physics and engineering – that all come together to create immersive experiences. Imagineering in a Box allows you to explore different aspects of theme park design, from characters to ride development, as you design a theme park of your very own.
Pixar in a Box - A behind-the-scenes look at how Pixar artists do their jobs. You will be able to animate bouncing balls, build a swarm of robots, and make virtual fireworks explode. The subjects you learn in school — math, science, computer science, and humanities — are used every day to create amazing movies at Pixar. This collaboration between Pixar Animation Studios and Khan Academy is sponsored by Disney.
TPSP Tasks for 5-8 - TPSP = Texas Performance Standards Projects. This link will take you directly to the high school grade band. From there, choose interdisciplinary and explore all the projects they have to offer. Keep in mind, these projects are intended to take weeks to months to complete and follow the complete research and presentation cycle.

The Gifted Guy - Enrichment with the Gifted Guy are videos that can be used with students to challenge them and to enrich their learning. These are not so much based on content as they are on skills designed to made students better thinkers.
