This list of non-profit agencies in the York County Interagency Council or YCIC has all sorts of options for young people to do good things in the community. You may even discover some aspect of your future career in the process. Rock Hill School District keeps the list of volunteer opportunities updated for the community.
We have loads of things students can do with us, from marking storm drains, litter pick ups (roadway and creek-based) to helping us paint our stormwater mural in Kingsley next month! You can check out some of the opportunities on our volunteer website.

Volunteer with Seniors at an Independent Living Community in Indian Land. Greenway Square is a new community welcoming students as young as 14 years of age to volunteer in a variety of ways.
For anyone interested in volunteering, please go to our website (link below). Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age and meet the requirements outlined in the application. There may also be additional opportunities available through community health fairs or special projects, such as assembling care packages for patients.
