McCall Brothers is looking for motivated applicants interested in participating in a paid two year groundwater development training program leading to permanent employment with the company.  Successful applicants will be trained in various elements of the groundwater construction industry:

• drill rig operation and well construction

• well pump service and installation

• water filtration equipment installation and service

• construction dewatering services 

• operate various forms of drilling equipment, overhead cranes and hoists

• servicing and installing all types of water pumping equipment and water filtration equipment

• proper record keeping, job data entry and regulatory paperwork

• health and safety training 

You'll be a licensed well contractor in North Carolina and South Carolina after two years of classroom and field training.

You will receive performance reviews every six months and be evaluated for pay increases based on their progress.  Starting pay is $13.50 per hour with current premium pay of $28.00 per hour available upon completion of the two-year program and successful completion of all specified milestones.  Standard work week is 50 hours typically (overtime pay after 40 hours).  Out of town work includes meals and hotel allowances.  Weekend and after-hours on-call services are compensated and include sales percentage incentives.  Typical employee pay ranges from $45,000 to $60,000 per year.

Their training program is a two-days, hands-on program, you would be working 70% indoors and 30% outdoors with some days, nights and weekends available for overtime.
