Students may see the following error messages when attempting to portal from Focus to VSA at the beginning of the year.
Below you will see possible error messages and what they mean. Don't worry - reach out to your homeroom teacher or call tech support (800-374-1430, option 2). We understand that error messages may cause some delays.
This message means that the account hasn't been activated in VSA yet. This is normal and expected due to the large number of students being activated in their courses.
The activation process can take 24 - 48 hours.
If you are still unable to access your course after 48 hours from your first attempt, contact the help desk at 800-374-1430 (option 2) to report the issue.
This screen means the student has an existing VSA account and has tried to enter that information incorrectly too many times. If the student does not remember the login information, they will need to click the links on the message or contact tech support to assist with a VSA password reset.
Students will need to wait at least 24 hours before attempting to access again.
If after 24 hours they are still unable to access, please email info@flvs.net.
This error occurs when something is not matching between Focus and VSA. It will prevent the student from accessing their account. Please report this error to tech support at 800-374-1430 (option 2) or your homeroom teacher.

These security questions occur specifically for our military families. It will prevent the student from accessing their account until the Security Questions are completed and saved.
Students have access to VSA upon completion of the Security Questions.

These occurs for students that don't have an email and phone number listed yet in VSA. It will prevent the student from accessing their account.
Students will need to complete the email, phone type, and phone number fields to continue.
If you are still unable to access your courses after you complete this step, contact the help desk at 800-374-1430 (option 2) to report the issue.
These occurs for students that have previously been enrolled with FLVS but have switched schools. It will prevent the student from accessing their account.
Students will need to complete the 3 questions correctly to continue.

Have a parent or learning coach help with this download.
Log in to your student Educator account.
Click the "Tools" button in the blue menu bar at the top.
Click the "Sign Up Now" option in the lower right.
Use the SCHOOL EMAIL ADDRESS that auto populates in the space and click the "Sign Up" arrow. Do not change the email address that auto populates.
Complete the required fields.
IMPORTANT: Use your parent's birthdate, NOT your own!
(If you are under 13 and you enter your own birthday, it will lock you out and you'll need to contact the IT help desk)
Go to your school email inbox to get the verification code (this may take a few minutes).
Download Microsoft Office and get started using Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint.
IMPORTANT: When you create your password, be sure to save the new password.
(tech support does not have access to this and will not be able to reset)
QWERTY QUICK TIPS:
Updates for Windows and Mac iOS can occur periodically. If the computer is not working properly, updates may need to be installed. Try shutting down completely and restarting.
