Discussion Based Assessments (DBAs) are a mandatory part of each course. Teachers work to make this an engaging opportunity so students can show what they know and interact with course material.
Complete 1 DBA per semester for ELA, Science, Social Studies, and Electives.
Complete 2 DBAs per semester in Zoom for your Math course.
Study guides and guided notes for your courses are available on the Help Site Hub.
If the DBA has not been completed in a course, then a grade of F will be assigned as the final grade in the course regardless of the grade in the course material.
Go to your teacher's announcement page in Educator and click on the "DBA scheduler" button.
Schedule your DBA time and date by following the directions
Your teacher will provide details with where to go for your DBA.
Visit the Help Site Hub to access Guided Notes and DBA Review guides. These can be used during your DBA.
After you successfully complete the DBA, your teacher will tell you what to submit in your Educator gradebook for grading.

DBAs can be completed in Zoom or over the phone. Check with your teacher about the type of DBA they require for the course.
DBAs are open note assessments - bring guided notes to help you during the DBA.
