MNA (Medicare Nurse Aide) class allows students to become Kentucky State Registered Nursing Assistants (SRNA) before they graduate high school. Students learn to master 31 hands-on patient skills and 12 units of information regarding patient care from the perspective of a nursing assistant. They complete clinical time where they can use the skills they have learned on actual patients. This class is intended for any 11th or 12 grade student who is interested in being a nurse aide, LPN, RN, Nurse Practioner or Nurse Anesthetist.
