Mrs. Trent instructs Dual Credit English courses, and Panther Prep courses. She is the teacher sponsor for our school's writing club and she specializes in American and Britsh Literature. She enjoys reading Shakespeare plays. 

Ms. Halsey teaches Senior English, UK Communications, and Junior English. She also teaches Drama and helps her students create spectacular plays! Her favorite books include The Great Gatsby, The Neverending Story, The Harry Potter Series, Lord of the Flies and Of Mice and Men. 

Mrs. Frye teaches Freshman English. She is also in charge of the Yearbook class where her and her students work diligently to capture all the amazing activities and events our students are a part of. Her favorite books include The Princess Bride, Three Cups of Tea, Long Way Down. She also enjoys a good romance novel every once and a while.  

Ms. McConnell teaches AP Language, Panther Prep, and Sophomore English. One of her all time favorite books is One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and one of her favorite writers is Maya Angelou. 

Ms. Jones teaches AP Language and Composition, AP Literature and Junior English. She is also one of the assitant coaches for the FCHS Academic Team and she coaches the Future Problem Solving Team. Her favorite books include The Daughter of Smoke and Bone Series, Dante's Inferno, Wuthering Heights, Good Omens, and Lore Olympus.
