While no ERG looks the same, it can be helpful to see how the workforce has brought groups to life at other organizations. Below are just a few examples to gain inspiration from.

What does success look like for an ERG?
Success for ERGs can look different and be defined differently by each ERG individually. As groups mature, the nature of their impact and the ways in which they define success will evolve.
A newer ERG could define success simply based on participation while a more established ERG may find they can define success based on their involvement within the company initiatives.
For example, "Community NETwork has been called the key to AT&T’s exceptionally high retention rate and growing leadership presence among African American employees. With over 12,000 members, it is the oldest ERG at AT&T as well as its third largest.
Participants in Community NETwork partner with the company’s Executive Advocate Program (called Champions) to identify and cultivate high-potential leaders. This has resulted in pinpointing more than 30 high-potential individuals at the VP level."
