Each week, your child will bring home a choice board with nine different activities to practice the skills we’re focusing on. The board is sent home on Monday and stays in your child’s folder until Friday. Students can complete as many activities as they like throughout the week—there’s no set number required.
Dojo points are given on Fridays when we collect the homework. For every activity completed, your child will earn one extra Dojo point.
We strongly encourage completing at least one activity each evening along with at least ten minutes of reading. We’ve noticed a strong connection between regular practice at home and growth in the classroom. That said, we are all mothers with families, so we totally understand that sometimes just getting through nightly activities, extracurriculars, feeding your kids, and getting them to bed is all you can handle—and that’s completely okay!
Homework is not graded and is meant to support your child’s learning. If a homework sheet is lost, we can provide an extra copy or you can access it online here. Please do not print out homework pages weeks in advance, as new assignments are updated each Monday for the upcoming week.

**Please note that we only work a week ahead when planning for our classrooms, therefore homeworks may change if you work ahead of where we currently are in the room.
