Families in Transition provides many direct services and/or referrals for services for both residential and non-residential clients. All services provided by Families in Transition are free and confidential. While each client has individual needs, the services provided may include:
•24 hour, 7 days a week, 365 days a year hotline
•Emergency Shelter
•Safety/Safety Planning
•Food, Clothing and Personal Hygiene Items
•Assistance with filing for Victim’s Compensation
•Assistance in locating and obtaining safe, permanent shelter
•Assistance with education and job placements
•Assistance with obtaining an Order of Protection
•Transportation Assistance
•Support Groups – On and Off Site
•Connection and referrals to available community resources
•Case management, Individual Advocacy, Legal/Medical Advocacy and Mentoring
•Substance Abuse Recovery Counseling, TF-CBT and EMDR Therapy
•Assistance Writing Victim Impact Statements
