Class Contract

I ______________________ understand the following policies for Professor Fader’s Class

I understand the following absence policies:

3 Lates (15 min or more, beginning or end of class) = 1 absence

3rd absence = Failure

I understand that if I receive an email indicating that I was absent for a class but was in attendance I must notify Professor Fader in the next 24 hours, otherwise it will count as an absence.

If I have a doctor’s note I must scan it and email it to Professor Fader before the next class. An exception can only be considered if I have scanned and sent 2 doctor’s notes in this timeframe and I have been in communication with Professor Fader. Otherwise I understand that I will fail this class.

I understand that missing a Critique Day will result in a 0 on my project and I will still have to complete my work to receive a final grade. I understand that if I miss any crit and do not hand in my final project I will receive an incomplete.

I understand that if I do not show up to class with anything relevant to work on I will receive a 0 for the day. I also understand that there is always work to be done.

I am committed to my own education. I do not expect to be told what the “right” answers are in this classroom. Instead I am committed to searching for answers and understanding myself.

I understand that “homework” does not exist, only my work.

I will work towards growth in my own work and respect and encourage my peers to do the same.
