Meet Your Social Worker

Thank you for visiting the Social Work page. My name is Tanya Anderson and I am the Floresville ISD District Social Worker and Coordinator of Social Services. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Supervisor status and I graduated with my Master of Social Work degree from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, TX. My practice area of specialty is in grief and trauma therapy.

My family and I live in LaVernia, TX. I have been married for 25 years and we have two adult children, four dogs and 6 cats. We are blessed to have a beautiful connection with family and friends, near and far. Our family enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, swimming, walking, playing with our dogs, grilling and entertaining. We love going to the beach, taking road trips and visiting Sea World.

I am so grateful to do the work that I do. Please know that I am here to help you and your family along with our staff in any way that I can with resources, ideas, plans, counseling, referrals, or whatever is needed. It is a great privilege to serve our Floresville Family!
