Accomplishments: 2023-24

• We held a book drive at Applefest to encourage diverse reading and awareness on the topics of discrimination and identity

•      Awareness building:

  • We promoted Black History Month in February with posters and sources for further education

  • Updated book and film recommendations related to our mission statement

• March 22-24 - Voter suppression event: to help eligible American Citizens register for voting, on behalf of Youth Against Prejudice. 

• Updates our service board with relevant information such as:

  • Key figures in combating prejudice

  • How to help in the local area

  • Relevant book and film recommendations 

• Worked with Peer Eds to facilitate discussions with lower grade levels 

• Updated our Google site this year with information about our group, the current topics we’re working on, and how to help.
