Below is an overview of the group created by the leaders. Please note: This is only accessible to FIS emails. (click on the image for the video)
Accomplishments:2024/25
→ We ran the beverage stand at Applefest to support this event
→ Raised funds (360€) and awareness for HIV during our HIV/AIDS week/ World AIDS Day
→ Ran a Valentine’s Day Candy Gram, Bake Sale & “Guess how much money is in the jar” game, to raise funds (400€)
→ Donated 1170€ to WEHAF for transportation purchases and care packages
→ Launched and executed project: selling of designed bags from the WEHAF Mamas to the FIS music department to use for the AMIS festival, in order to support their small businesses (Estimated raised amount 950€)
Our Mission
Our mission is to be a group that raises awareness about HIV/Aids and to help support the organization WEHAF, (Windows Encouragement and HIV/Aids Foundation). WEHAF has made it its goal to advocate for victims of HIV/AIDS and we try to help fundraise to support the needs in this organization. This connection and collaboration with WEHAF began an alumni of FIS. We're involved in many different events to accomplish our aim. We are a grade 9-12 group.
Meeting Details:
We meet every B-Day in room 326 at morning break- 10:30 or 10:45 depending on the day
