FIS will demonstrate a commitment to further develop FIS facilities to ensure they meet the highest standards of teaching, collaboration, play and safety on both campuses.
Consider the following concerns regarding facilities:
● presence of windowless doors throughout the Wiesbaden campus;
● small interior kitchen and laundry/storage area at the Wiesbaden campus is windowless and can be locked by hand from the inside;
● still no crosswalk from the Parkhotel corner to the sidewalk;
● lack of flexibility in use of time, limiting possibilities in areas such as art and science.
Ensure evacuation feedback is considered by the Safety Committee.
Consider the facility enhancements that may be needed to promote equal access to education as the diversity of the school increases.
In prioritizing and evaluating future initiatives, consider how the impact on student learning will be assessed.
