Morgan Coughlan

Rooted in the coastal and rural landscape of my upbringing, these sculptures draw on prehistoric monuments, ancient funerary practices and natural forms such as fossils, coral and lichen. They explore how objects hold deep time and memory. Remembrance becomes a monument of the mind and through ceramic form, grief and collective memory become something that can be touched.
