Amaria Bartmann - Noah’s Ark
My favorite bible story is Noah’s Ark. In the beginning, God created people. The people became bad because of sin. God decided to send a flood to get rid of the bad people. God told Noah to make a big boat and get 2 of each animal, one male and one female, onto the boat. Noah was on the boat for 40 days and 40 nights. When the flood stopped, Noah sent a dove out. The dove brought back a branch which showed there was dry land. God put a rainbow in the sky as a promise to never flood the Earth again. This story is important to me because it means a lot that God promised not to flood the Earth again.
John Behling - The three men in the fire
Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego worship the one true God. King Nebuccanezar worshipped false gods. The King found out that the three men have been worshipping not his god. So the King commanded to bring the three men to him. So they said they are praying to the one true God. This made the King mad. So he commanded his soldiers to throw Shadrach, Meshach, and Abendego into the fiery furnace. When they looked into the furnace, there were four people in there. The King turned up the heat, but the guards watching them got too hot and died. So he commanded the other guards to take the three men out of the fire. The men weren’t burned at all. He saw the three men with no burns and was amazed. The King said, “Praise be to God. He saved them. Now whoever does not praise the one true God, they will be thrown in the fire.”I chose this story because I can pray to God, and He listens all the time. If I’m having a hard time,He will help me through it.
MacKenzie Borzych - Jesus Walks on Water
Jesus said to the people “Leave me alone!” Then he went on a mountain and he prayed to God. Jesus saw His disciples on the sea. So he went on the water to take a walk. They thought that he was a ghost at first! But he said “Don’t be afraid”. Jesus called Peter out to Him. Peter was able to walk on the water! Until he looked down and got scared. Then he started sinking and Jesus saved him. I like this story because it reminds me that Jesus has really strong power.
Wesley Brostrom - Moses
Moses grew to be a good leader, BUT WE ARE GOING BACK IN TIME! WOOSH! REALLY early in the world, Pharaoh made a rule that EVERY Israelite boy must be killed. Moses`s Mom wanted him to survive, so she put him in a basket and put him in the Nile river. The princess of Egypt found him in the basket and gave him to his Mom to raise until he was old enough to live in the palace. Moses was an important man who did great things for God’s people. This is my favorite book of the Bible because it reminds me that God is always with me.
Emily Clausing - Easter
My Favorite Bible story is the Easter story because it helps remind me of what Jesus did for us. It begins with Jesus and his disciples at the last supper. Jesus took some bread, blessed it and gave it to his disciples to eat. Then he took some wine, blessed it and gave it to his disciples to drink. Then Jesus said, “Whoever I give this bread to shall betray me tonight.” Then he gave it to Judas. Then Jesus told Peter that he would deny him three times that night .That night Jesus took Peter and the two sons of Zebebee with him to pray in the garden of Gethsemane. When he was done praying the FIRST time, he found them asleep. So he woke them up. Then when he was done praying the SECOND time, he found them asleep again. Next, when he was done praying the THIRD time, he found them asleep AGAIN. After he woke them up, Judas came with some soldiers behind him. Then, Peter grabbed his sword, and sliced off one of the soldier's ears. So Jesus healed it. Then Jesus was taken to Pilate. That same night, He was sent to jail. While he was in jail, there was another prisoner there. They were going to decide who to kill. Everyone wanted to kill Jesus and release the other prisoner. They whipped Jesus and made him carry a heavy cross to the top of a hill were there were two other prisoners nailed to more crosses. Then he was nailed to the cross that he carried up the hill. Then one of the soldiers stabbed Jesus in the side to make sure that he was dead. Then darkness fell over the land. Then one of the prisoners said that he was sorry and asked for him to forgive him. Then he said, ”It is finished”. Then he was taken to a tomb. Three days later, he rose back from the dead.
Domenic Daniels - David and Goliath
The story begins with a shepherd boy named David. He defended his sheep from lions. One day, Goliath came. He was terrorizing the town. God gave strength and bravery to David. David grabbed his slingshot and grabbed five stones and shot Goliath. The giant was defeated! They rewarded David. I like this story because it shows that with God’s strength and His help we can do anything!
Luka Garcia - Jonah
My favorite Bible story is Jonah being thrown into the sea. God told Jonah to go to Nineveh, but Jonah didn’t want to, so he sailed the opposite way. While Jonah and his friends were on the boat, a tempestuous storm came.
Jonah said, “Throw me off the boat and the storm will stop.” So they threw him off and the storm stopped. Meanwhile, when Jonah was in the sea, he got swallowed by a big fish! While he was in the fish’s belly, he was praying. God commanded the fish to spit Jonah out and it did. God told Jonah the third time to go to Nineveh. He went to Nineveh to tell them about Jesus. I like this story because it reminds me that we should always listen to God.
Emmett Hensler - Jesus’ Birth
My favorite Bible story is that of Jesus' birth because it makes me feel happy. Jesus was born and that day became Christmas. Another part of the story talks about Mary and Joseph not being married yet, and they took care of the baby anyways. This Bible story is important because it brings me comfort because Jesus came to not sin.
Elise Johnson - Peter denies Jesus
My favorite Bible story is Peter denying Jesus. Peter is one of Jesus’ 12 disciples. When Peter was in the courtyard, a servant girl said “You were with Jesus. I saw you.” Peter denied Jesus by saying “I don’t know who you are talking about.” Another servant girl walked past and saw him warming himself and said “You were following Jesus.” Peter denied Jesus by saying “I have no idea who that is.” The rooster crowed. Peter remembered what Jesus had said “You will deny me three times.” Another servant came by and said “You were one of the ones following Jesus.” Peter denied Jesus the last time by saying “I have no clue who you are talking about.” The rooster crowed a second time. This story reminds me that we all sin, even a disciple like Peter, and God is with us even when we sin.

They asked for help and a place to stay ,but all the inn said no.Next, they went to a stable and gave birth to Jesus and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths shepherd visited Jesus at the manger. They worshipped Jesus because he was the new born king. Then, the three wise men came and gave Jesus gold, myrrh, and frankincense.
Elizabeth Linscott - Creation
My favorite story of the Bible is the creation story. In the beginning, there was nothing, and God was all alone. On the first day, God created Light. On the second day, God created the day and night. On the third day, God created the water and land. On the fourth day, God created the plants and fruit trees. On the fifth day, God created the fish and birds. On the sixth day, God created the land animals and bugs. On the seventh day, God rested. I like this story because it reminds me to be grateful for everything I have.
Alexa Melichar - The Fall
My favorite story in the Bible is Adam and Eve because my dad’s name is Adam and it reminds me to not hide from God. Adam and Eve lived in the Garden of Eden. They could eat any food in the garden, except from the tree in the middle of the garden. One day, Eve met a snake which was the Devil. He wanted Eve to eat the fruit from the tree in the middle of the garden. Eve ate it, then she convinced Adam to eat it and he did. They heard God walking through the garden. They tried to hide but God told them that He knew what they had done and banished them. That’s how sin came into the world.
Peyton Minster - Queen Esther
Esther was a Jew. She was kind, fair, and true. One day, the king needed a queen. Esther tried out and he loved her, but he did not know that she was a Jew because her cousin, Mordecai, told her not to. Esther wanted to have a feast between the king and his right hand man, Hamon, because she wanted to celebrate the king. Hamon wanted to kill all the Jews. Why? Because Mordecai did not bow down to him. Now, back to Esther. The king went to the feast and asked Esther what her request was. But she said he should “Come to the next feast”. When the king came to the next feast, he asked her the same question, and she replied, “I want you to save all the Jews because they are my people. Hamon has taken that away”. When the king heard this, he ordered Hamon to be killed. After that, Hamon fell to his knees in front of Esther begging for forgiveness. This is my favorite Bible story because there are not many stories about clever girls in the Bible.
Aidan Neuworth - Jesus’ Birth
My favorite Bible story is Jesus’ birth because Christmas is my favorite holiday. God sent an angel to Mary and the angel said,’’You must go to Bethlehem. You will have a baby and you will name Him Jesus.’’So they had the baby and named Him Jesus. Then, the animals, shepherds, angels, and wise men came to see the baby king. He was a special baby because He would grow to be the Savior.
Cooper Olsen - The Good Samaritan
One day, a person was walking on the street and robbers came and beat him up. Later that day, a Levite came by and passed him on the other side of the street. Then a priest came by and crossed the street too. Finally, a Samaritan man came by, these two are from different places and don’t usually get along, but the Samaritan still helped the injured man. He took him to an inn and paid for him to get help until he was better. I like this story because it tells you that you should help everyone.
Simon Stoll - Saul’s Conversion
My favorite Bible story is the story of Saul’s conversion. Saul was a bad person because he killed a lot of Christians. One day while he was walking to Jerusalem, God blinded Saul and said, “Saul why are you killing my people?” Saul said, "Who are you, Lord?” God said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. Rise and enter the city of Damascus where you will be told what to do.” The people traveling with him were amazed and led him to the city. For 3 days, he could not see, nor eat and drink. Waiting for him, was a man named Ananais in a house where Saul’s blindness was cured. He became Paul and shared the Good News of God with everyone. I like this story because with God you can be a better person.
Dani Thimm - Wise and Foolish Men
There was a wise man who built his house on a rock and a foolish man who built his house on the sand. The winds came and beat against the wise man's house. It didn’t fall. But the foolish man, who built his house on sand, his house fell, and great was the fall of it! I chose this story because it shows that we should not fear, just believe in God.
