What is Washington FFA State Convention?
State Convention is a 5 day trip to WSU Pullman to compete in CDE/LDE competitions, cook ribs for a barbecue contest, participate in workshops, and have fun! Students stay in residence halls, eat in the student dining centers, and compete in university classrooms. At the end of each day, they attend convention sessions where around 4,000 FFA members from around the state gather in the great Beasley Colliseum to watch each other recieve awards on stage, show off their talent (singing, playing guitar, etc), FFA State Officers give their retiring addresses challenging members to make a change and inspiring agriculture leadership for years to come.
