As the Field Museum constantly moves forward to meet and exceed the ADA guidelines, the Visitor Services department has taken measures to meet the current needs as well as continuing to implement measures so that we exceed the current requirements.
Attached you will find several documents that feature the services and conveniences that our department offers to our guests. These services are also available for interdepartmental loan following the guidelines laid out in the documents attached. The Membership & Visitor Services Department is also responsible for the Field Museum's stock of public wheel chairs that are available to guests free of charge. These chairs (alongside strollers) are currently lent out from the East Coat Check on the Ground Level and the South Coat Check (by the Main Store) on the Main Level. To borrow a wheelchair during public hours, feel free to stop by one of these coat checks to speak with a representative.
