Hyojeong Ministry: The New Paradigm for the Era of Cheon Il Guk Settlement
1. From Wilderness to Settlement
With the entrance into the Cheon Won Gung Cheon Il Sanctum in 2026, we have ushered in a new providential era. True Mother has proclaimed a "Ministry of Settlement of High-Noon to open the Golden Age," calling on us to move beyond the pastoral methods of the past "Wilderness Era."
In the Wilderness Era, ministry was centered on "Kerygmatic Proclamation"—driven by powerful messages to restore people from the satanic world—and the strict vertical alignment. This was an inevitable process for survival and spiritual separation. However, we have now entered the Era of Settlement, where the second generation must take the lead in inheriting the providence.
Ministry must now move beyond the proclamation of the New Truth to the world and instead aim for the expansion of Hyojeong culture attending True Parents within daily life, emotional empathy, and horizontal harmony befitting the Era of Cheon Il Guk Settlement. The starting point of "Hyojeong Ministry" is for all members to naturally embody and blossom the Hyojeong toward True Parents in their everyday lives.
2. Core Definition
Hyojeong Ministry is the practice of "Spiritual Parenthood," where pastors inherit the absolute heart of Hyojeong toward Heavenly Parent and True Parents. It involves raising members not as "objects of management" but as "Owners of Cheon Il Guk".
The essence of Hyojeong Ministry is to move beyond Skill to Heart, and beyond Organization to Family.
3. Three Pillars of Practice
First, Worship of Resurrection and Inspiration
Worship in Hyojeong Ministry is not a formal ritual. It is a "Festival of Re-creation" where we shed our fallen nature and return to our original heart. Sermons should not be mere transmission of knowledge but an "Event of Incarnation," where the Word becomes flesh through the pastor's character. Through worship, we resurrect the spirits of our members and return joy to Heavenly Parent.
Second, Ministry of Healing and Empathy
Hyojeong Ministry embraces without judgment. The pastor is not a judge who admonishes, but a "Wounded Healer" who listens to and shoulders the pain of the members. Our mission is to break down walls through counseling and visitation, entering the lives of members to plant "Comfort and Hope."
Third, Leadership of Cooperation and Win-Win
Hyojeong Ministry is not about heroic, solo leadership. It is "Team Ministry" that discovers the gifts of each member and establishes them as protagonists of the ministry. Moving beyond vertical pyramid structures, we build a "Circular Community" of mutual respect and cooperation.
4. Our Vision
The Mission Department of the World Mission Headquarters operates the Practical Ministry Education program to spread this vision of "Hyojeong Ministry" worldwide. We are committed to walking together until all pastors around the globe are reborn as "True Hyojeong Leaders resembling True Parents," spearheading church growth and the realization of the ideal of Cheonbo families through these educational materials.
