Mirabel Schwanke

Two women in my family have had cancer. The pictures I chose to deal with the structure of human anatomy were the lungs, the heart, the spine, and the brain. These pictures are supposed to display lung cancer, heart cancer, bone cancer, and brain cancer. After this semester, I plan to add a darker color to the painting every day, until the image is completely black. This is supposed to signify the cancer being beaten.
