Go Guardian Troubleshooting
Check to make sure the student has the GoGuardian Extension (You can check for the extensions on the student's device by entering chrome://extensions into their address bar.)
Have the student re-start their Chromebook
Re-start the session
Clear the cache on your device (Command-Shift-R on Mac or Control-Shift-R on PC)
Having students visit chrome://restart which can launch them into the class.
To clear out errors and update GoGuardian extensions, remove the student's user profile by following these steps:
Sign the student out of the Chromebook
On the sign-in screen, click the profile that you want to remove
Click the Down Arrow to the right of the student's name
Click Remove This Person
In the box that appears, click Remove
Once removed, click Add Person in the bottom left corner
Sign the student into the Chromebook
The student should automatically reconnect to your session
Verify that your student is signed into their school-provided account by typing chrome://settings into their address bar. The signed-in user will be displayed under "People."
Put in a work order with the student(s) name(s) and class(es) that are not working.
