We have continued to support training by accommodating scheduling to meet the needs for specific groups such as church groups, private school staff, the school nursing students at Lord Fairfax Community College, child-care providers, Culpeper school staff, probation officers, Warrenton police officers, etc. Since the Project AWARE grant ended, the YMHFA courses have been able to continue due to support by the PATH Foundation for instructor fees and cost of participant manuals and course materials. This funding from PATH enabled the project to sustain and thrive without losing the momentum that would have occurred without immediate funding resources.

By the spring of 2018, we achieved our personal goal of training over 1,000 community members, including over 500 FCPS employees. This is a remarkable achievement that could not have occurred without the outstanding community partnerships and support.

We continue to offer classes and promote registration. The PATH foundation continues to provide budgetary support for paying instructors and purchasing manuals. We are now transitioning the logistics of the YMHFA project from FCPS to the Mental Health Association of Fauquier. FCPS will remain a collaborative partner in the YMHFA project for the foreseeable future.
