Complete the Setup described in this document for each course you teach.
This document covers:
How to handle Interim Progress and Report Card grades
Details about the grade sync from Schoology to TAC
Important information about Published grades
Parent access to grades
Grade passback passes a student’s average calculated term grades for each course automatically into the TAC gradebook on a nightly basis.
What does this mean for teachers, administrators and parents? The passback provides the following benefits:
Teachers can use TAC’s “Load from Gradebook” option at Interim Grade and Report Card time instead of having to manually transcribe grades from Schoology
Schoology course grades will be included in ReportNet reports that use course grades from TAC
Staff members who have Advisor access can view the grades of any student in their building and the Courses of any teacher in their building. See the following document for full details and directions.
All information that staff needs to help parents connect to their child in Schoology can be found on the Parents page of this site. Parents should be directed to the Schoology page of our FCPS website. Parents will need the Parent Access Code(s) for their child(ren) to connect for the first time, which they can find in HAC. Guidance staff can also access Parent Access Codes by running the Parent Access Letter report, which can be found in the Gradebook folder of ReportNet.
