Follow the 4 steps below to get fully set up in Schoology and ready to use it in your role in FCPS.
Teachers, staff and Students access Schoology in one of the following two ways:
Go to https://lms.fcps.org
Click "FCPS Bookmarks" in Chrome and select "Schoology"
Note: Don't have access to Schoology? Your credentialing for our district tools may not be complete. Access will be automatically granted 24-48 hours after an employee's official start date in People Soft.
On an FCPS Windows computer, you will be logged in to Schoology automatically based on your computer login. On a Chromebook, personal device, or at home, you will need to log in with your FCPS email address and password.
For on-the-go access to Schoology, install the Schoology mobile app from the Google Play Store or from Apple's App Store.
Join the following FCPS Schoology Groups to gain access to the student-ready lessons, units, and blueprint courses built by the Curriculum, Instruction, and Innovation department, and to get the latest FCPS Schoology news, tips, and other info. In Schoology, click Groups > My Groups > Join Group, then enter the following Access Codes:
FCPS District Resources: 9G3NW-NF42S
Schoology Updates for FCPS Staff: F73ZX-93NNR
Be sure to turn on notifications for these Groups. Open each group in Schoology, click Notifications in the top-right corner, and check Group update posted.
The main way for FCPS staff to fully learn how to use Schoology is to take our self-paced Schoology training course. To join, in Schoology, click Courses > My Courses > Join a Course, and enter Access Code: W6CC-M62R-R4MM6

If Schoology is not working correctly for you, there are several things to try before requesting help from Schoology or from our FCPS Schoology team:

Check with the Schoology Ambassador at your school for help. Your Schoology Ambassador is your local expert in Schoology and should be able to answer most of your questions and help with any issues you may have in Schoology.
All FCPS Staff have 24/7 access to live Schoology support by phone, chat, or email. To access these support options, log into Schoology and click the Support link at the bottom of your Schoology window. Phone and chat help will happen in real-time, but email responses can take up to 24 hours to receive.
If you have a Schoology question that is specific to FCPS (schedules, student enrollment in your courses, TAC integration, etc), or if you couldn't get the answer you needed from Schoology's Support team, you can email our FCPS staff at schoology.help@fcps.org. Responses will generally occur during normal working hours. We will not be able to answer all emails immediately, but will do our best to respond within one workday.
