The Work Study program gives students the opportunity to explore a possible career first hand while still in high school.  Students attend high school classes for part of the day and then are released to go to place of work.

Introduction Letter for Fall 2023 Work Study Students

Work Study Agreement -

Students need to keep accurate records of their work schedules and submit timecards on-line to Mrs Gibson every two weeks for a grade.

Need a Work Permit?  The rules have changed!  As of July, 2014, you no longer need to have a work permit issued by school personnel.  Students, parents/guardians and employers now take care of this on their own.  Click here for new rules!!

Grading Policy:

Grades are based on a point system. The number of points that a student accumulates is divided by the total number of points available. This yields a percentage grade. The percentage grade is converted into a letter grade. Grades are determined by combining points from supervisor evaluations, signed contract submission, and monthly time cards. Turning in assignments late will result in the loss of credit. Current grades can be accessed through Schoology.
